Ask Penny

Why do you build websites for free?

Because most small businesses don't want to pay hundreds of pounds before they've seen anything. Our team builds your website first, and we only earn the £19 a month if you love it and put it live. So it's in our interest to build you something good.

Is this a scam?

No. You pay nothing until you've seen your finished website and chosen to put it live. There's no contract, you can cancel any time from your account, and your domain is registered in your name. Payments go through Stripe, and your website is hosted in the UK by our friends at Prooflive.ai.

What's the catch?

No catch. Building your website costs nothing. If you love it, it's £19 a month to keep it online, paid from the day it goes live. If you don't, you pay nothing and walk away.

Is the website really mine?

Yes. Your domain is registered in your name, and if you ever leave you take it with you.

What if I want to leave?

Cancel any time from your account. There is no contract and no notice period.

Can I change things?

Yes. Tell your web designer what to change, or edit it yourself in your account.
